History of the Amazon Tribe

Quetzalxochitl was an ancient Aztec Goddess of nature, beauty, femininity, and all other womanly attributes - revered for her strength and wrath against those and men who tried to taint her precious female followers,

Living among a plethora of lesser Goddess and God counterparts, there was a lot of jealousy, and venomous talk about Quetzalxochitl's lack of compassion towards their male followers; so the Gods and Goddesses devised a plan against their beloved sister Goddess, inviting her to a feast where they laced her drink with a binding magic which rendered her virtually human and cast her out of their realm until she learns to respect the harmonious balance brought from embracing both genders as followers.

Quetzalxochitl woke in the human realm as a Mexican woman named Maria Isobel Garcia, at least - she assumed that was the name of the body she now possessed as it had been written on several shiny rectangles on her person, as well as it was the name by which she had been called when she left the house her human vessel had been sleeping.

"Maria Isobel! Where are you going? Maria!"

She recalled now the authority in that old voice and realized it must have been Maria's mother. She could also sense the maternal worry as she ignored the woman's inquisitions, knowing deep inside, the way only a true and pure Goddess could, that there was loneliness there. Loneliness caused by years of heartache from being neglected so long by the lowly man she had offered her heart to, before being left alone to raise their child, this girl, this -- Maria.

She vowed to herself, and to Maria, that she would take care of her -- she would make sure that her fall from her Higher Realm of existence would not be in vain, and she would prove to these humans and her brother and sisters in the Higher Realm that her way was right. Women, just like she, were loyal, pure and innocent and perfect according to all the laws of nature.

If she could only get some followers to help her on her quest...
